How it started. How it’s going.
Ashton Solutions was founded in 1994 as a one-person IT consultancy, serving as the strategic solutions provider between IT engineers and clients seeking technology solutions to make their businesses more efficient and successful.

Nearly 30 years later, Ashton has grown to a team of 24. And so has our role in
an ever expanding technological footprint. But our mission remain constant –
to provide vigilant dedication, transparency, responsiveness and a single point of contact and accountability to a select group of clients. Clients who value the role and potential of information technology in their organizations. We simplify the
complex, make IT reliable and optimize and align it with your changing needs.

We serve Greater Cleveland. And beyond.
Ashton Solutions is based in Beachwood, Ohio, and our team has deep roots in and around Cleveland. But our clients are located throughout northern Ohio, across the Midwest, in 27 states and around the globe. We are also part of an extensive peer network that allows us to get boots on the ground quickly almost anywhere.

ASHTON LEADERSHIP

Jim Millican

President

President

Shortly after graduating from The College of Wooster, Jim Millican went to work for a small IT service provider in a sales and marketing position. In that job, he found that working on the technology was way more fun than selling it. And he struck out on his own.

A graduate of The College of Wooster, Travis studied International Relations, Spanish and economics. Following college he worked in retail before heading back overseas to Spain for graduate school while acting as the facilities manager for The Hiram House during breaks back in the US. While he developed a great appreciation for Jamón Serano, olive oil and marcona olives he missed leading a team and solving problems.

He came to Ashton in 2014 with a wealth of sales and marketing experience, which is precisely why he’s our sales and marketing manager.
