                Power outages happen. It’s a fact of life. However these unexpected shutdowns can cause major issues when it comes to computers, whether laptops, PCs, or servers. One of the chief concerns is the damage these abrupt power disruptions can cause to data that is currently being written. If the data is not finished, it can become corrupted. This corrupted data could be insignificant and may require you to simply reinstall a program, or it could be a major system file that will no longer allow the unit to boot up. Computers are extremely complex, and when shuts down properly, they go through numerous checks. These checks make sure no new data is being written, and that all processes shut down properly. However when there is an abrupt outage, the system does not get the opportunity to run through those checks.
